Canadian diamonds are indeed more expensive than diamonds from other countries. Also, most mined there are actually shipped to India and Africa for cutting and polishing.

The "Made in Botswana" diamonds may be a better choice. Boycotting diamonds from developing countries takes away from those people working on the ground we are trying to protect.
